Meridiane

The ‘Meridiane’ series of home accessories is inspired by the theatrical suggestion of the shadows of decorative elements projected onto architectural spaces. The white surfaces typical of numerous classical and Renaissance architectures reproposed here in hand-crafted ceramics are the ideal canvas for painting the elongated shapes that the sun draws on the ground at different times of the day.

The essentiality of the shapes and the precious metals such as 24k gold, platinum and copper with which the vertical elements are painted make the accessories of this collection versatile objects suitable for display both in minimalist interiors and in more articulated environments.

The 06:45 tray from the ‘Meridiane’ collection recalls typical shapes of classic Italian architecture. The white ceramic arena is the backdrop for an obelisk painted in 24k gold, platinum or copper that casts its shadow on the horizontal surface.

Its function may be to carry cups, glasses or drinks and it is ideal as an accessory to be displayed on a coffee table, alone or together with other objects from the same collection.

The 12:30 bowl from the ‘Meridiane’ collection is an accessory that can give personality to a minimalist environment and at the same time find its perfect place in a more classic space.

The painted gesture of the shadow that the obelisk projects on the curved surface of the container transforms a simple object into an unmistakable element which, with its minimalism, gives refinement and elegance to any corner of the house.

Inspired by the urban space of the square, the 19:00 cutting board from the ‘Meridiane’ collection is the ideal object for serving a convivial aperitif or simply for decorating a table.

Its minimalist yet sophisticated figure is a statement of style and gives it a timeless appeal that allows it to adapt to different environments. The vertical component, painted with precious metals such as 24k gold, platinum and copper, recalls the recurring decorative element in Italian squares, whether it is a sculpture, an obelisk or a fountain. This gesture is underlined by the painted shadow that stands out unequivocally on the surface of the square as if it were a sundial and makes the chopping board a unique object of its kind.

The 22:15 box from the ‘Meridiane’ collection can be the container where you can find a sweet to relax after dinner, or the casket in which to store the jewels on the bedside table before going to bed.

This object made and hand painted in refined white ceramic with 24k gold, platinum or copper details is a decorative element that can be placed in any room of the house and give a touch of uniqueness. Inspired by Casa Malaparte in Capri, the curved wall on the lid projects its own shadow which is painted on the surface, thus emphasizing its peculiarity.
