Dionysios
The Dionysios collection takes up the concept behind the Komos collection, also designed for Terza Dimensione. The graphic representation underlines the desire to play with geometric shapes and volumes, superimposed and shifted, creating a play of shadows given by the thickness of the individual elements.
All in a two-dimensional context. This is why the design becomes playful, therefore it wants to make fun of the perspective given by the classic contrast of lights and shadows and flatten it to the level of foot traffic. From whatever position you look at the tile, the shadows create a play of volumes, and the backgrounds underline the areas.
Furthermore, the design is designed to be divided into 5 modules: 1 large one with a diameter of 122 cm and 4 sub-multiples with a diameter of 61 cm, all different from each other; thus allowing from one tile to have 5 different ones for each type of need or pattern.
